😴 Off work for the week for a little staycation at home with Katey

🥳 Celebrated Katey's birthday with presents and food and lots of love 🥰

🛍️ Bit of retail therapy at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. Searched for (and failed at getting) swimsuits, went to the Apple store, bought a cotton gift wrap in Lush + sweets and stationery from Kenji, ate all the fried chicken, washed our hands in Rituals, then headed home 😍

😷 Finally getting over a nasty bout of flu, so spent the week mostly watching trashy Netflix true crime docs.

🚀 Went to Manchester to see The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks, an immersive 360° show about the Apollo (and upcoming Artemis) missions (1-min teaser video). Loved it!

🍿 It's the start/end of the year, so here's my annual round-up of all the films and TV shows I've watched in 2025.

🎆 Quiet night in for New Year's Eve; watching movies, Jools Holland's Hootenanny, and the London fireworks on the telly. Ordered in pizza 🍕

🥳 Had a lovely Christmas spending time with the family. Ate, drank and made merry.

🎁 Got some awesome presents from Katey on our first Christmas 😍 A 2026 calendar she made featuring my dog Ollie in famous movie posters is 👨🏻‍🍳💋

🥳 Turned 46 this week. Got an amazing present from Katey; the gastronomic bible! 😍

🥩 Steak and chips with a blue cheese sauce for birthday dinner 🤤

🎂 Even had cake (Booths' Apple & Blackcurrant Crumble cake, so good) with candles. Feel very loved 🥰

🎯 Completed the archery course with a competition (shooting balloons). Finished 2nd. Paid my subs for the year and now a member of the club! 🥳

💼 Final appraisal at work. No notes. Can work from home before Xmas!
